Kacey Chamness, ATC, Supervisor

Kacey serves as Manager of Work Ready and Worker’s Comp Rehab Services. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a specialization in Athletic Training from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2006. Early in her career, she provided athletic training services to high schools across Southern Illinois and the St. Louis area.

Kacey transitioned into her role as industrial Athletic Trainer with SIH in 2016, where her passion for helping athletes evolved into supporting “industrial athletes” in the workplace. Today, she partners with local companies to provide job demand analyses, post-offer testing, and injury prevention programs helping keep employees safe, healthy, and on the job. In 2016, she was instrumental in the purchase, development, and implementation of our new occupational medicine mobile unit that is expanding Work Care and Work Ready services across the region.

A proud Union County native, Kacey is dedicated to strengthening the well-being of her community by equipping local businesses with the tools and resources they need to maintain a safe and productive workforce.
